    Our Commitment to Growers

At innov8.ag, your farm data is your data. We built this platform to put insights in your hands — not to harvest your operation's information for our own benefit. This policy explains clearly what we collect, how we use it, and the controls you have over it.

    Data Ownership

You own your data. The agronomic, labor, harvest, inventory, and operational data you input into innov8.ag platforms — including FairPick, FairTrak, and StockTrak — remains your property at all times. We are a custodian of that data on your behalf, not an owner.

You may export, request deletion of, or transfer your data at any time by contacting us at [email protected]. Upon termination of your subscription, we will provide a full data export in a machine-readable format within 30 days, and delete your operational data within 90 days unless you request otherwise or retention is required by law.

    AI & Model Training

We will never use your identified farm data to train AI or machine learning models without your explicit, written consent.

Here is exactly what we do and do not do:

What we DO: We use anonymized, aggregated, and de-identified data — stripped of any information that could identify your operation, your workers, or your location — to improve platform-wide features such as yield benchmarking, harvest pacing models, and labor efficiency recommendations. This aggregate learning makes the platform better for all users.

What we DO NOT do: We do not use your farm's specific data (field boundaries, yield records, crew productivity, pay rates, variety data, or any data linked to your account) to train models that are shared, sold, licensed, or provided to third parties. We do not sell your data to input suppliers, crop buyers, lenders, or any other third party. Ever.

If we ever wish to use your data in ways beyond what is described here, we will ask for your explicit opt-in consent first. You can always say no without any impact to your service.

    Data We Collect

We collect two categories of data:

Operational Data (yours): Farm records, field data, labor and harvest records, inventory scans, traceability logs, sensor readings, and any other agronomic or business data you enter or that flows through our connected devices and integrations. This data belongs to you.

Platform Data (ours): Anonymous page views, interaction events (clicks, scroll depth, form engagement), session data, error reports, and device/browser technical data. This data is collected automatically and stored in our own database — it is not shared with third parties. We use it to improve reliability, understand content effectiveness, and enhance user experience. This data does not contain your farm's operational information.

We also collect standard contact and billing information (name, email, phone, payment details) to manage your account and communicate with you.

    Third-Party Sharing

We share your data with third parties only in these limited circumstances:

    • Service delivery: Subprocessors who help us operate the platform (cloud hosting on Microsoft Azure, payment processing, SMS delivery) under strict data processing agreements that prohibit them from using your data for any other purpose.
    • Your integrations: If you connect innov8.ag to third-party tools (e.g., payroll systems, ERP platforms, USDA programs), data is shared only as you direct.
    • Legal requirements: If compelled by law or to protect the rights and safety of users.
    • Business transitions: In the event of a merger or acquisition, data handling obligations transfer to the successor entity under terms no less protective than this policy.

We do not sell, rent, or trade your data. We do not share your data with crop buyers, ag retailers, insurance companies, or financial institutions unless you explicitly request and authorize it.

    Your Rights

    You have the right to:

    • Access a copy of all data we hold about you and your operation
    • Correct inaccurate data
    • Request deletion of your data (subject to legal retention requirements)
    • Export your data in a portable format
    • Opt out of any non-essential data processing
    • Know if and how automated decision-making affects you

To exercise any of these rights, contact [email protected]. We will respond within 30 days.

    Security

Your data is stored on Microsoft Azure infrastructure in the United States with encryption at rest and in transit. Access is role-restricted, logged, and audited. We do not store payment card data directly — all payment processing is handled by PCI-compliant third-party processors.

No system is 100% secure. In the event of a breach affecting your data, we will notify you within 72 hours of discovery.

    Cookies

We use cookies and similar technologies to operate the site and measure performance. First-party analytics (anonymous page views and interaction events stored in our own database) are collected automatically as essential site operations — no personal data is shared with third parties. Third-party scripts (Google Analytics, Microsoft Clarity) are loaded only with your consent.

    Policy Updates

We may update this policy as our practices evolve or regulations change. Material changes — especially any changes to how we handle your operational data or AI training — will be communicated directly via email at least 30 days before taking effect. You will always have the option to export your data and terminate your account before any material change takes effect.
