Applying AgTech in Vineyards

Banek Winegrower Management (BWM) and innov8.ag have formed a partnership to host an exciting event called 'Applying AgTech in Vineyards' at Sagemoor Southwind on June 27th at 3pm. The primary focus of this field day will revolve around the application of agricultural technology in vineyards.

During the field day, we will delve into various methods employed to collect and utilize data at Southwind. These techniques encompass soil and vine mapping, which enable the optimization of irrigation, nutrient distribution, yield management, and disease control. Attendees will have the opportunity to witness a live demonstration of Burro's robotics platform, showcasing its capabilities with a mounted Green Atlas Cartographer.

Furthermore, we are delighted to announce the presence of a representative from Robotics Plus, who will enlighten us about their revolutionary self-driving sprayer. This cutting-edge technology has already been successfully implemented in California vineyards and is soon to be introduced in Washington State as well. This presentation will offer valuable insights into the future of automated vineyard operations.

As part of the event, Derrick Westoby, the UAS Program Lead at PBS Engineering, will conduct an engaging drone imaging demonstration. This demonstration will provide an immersive experience, showcasing the advanced capabilities of drones in capturing aerial imagery for vineyard analysis and management.
