Our Relationships With Growers

Updated: Jun 24, 2020

Andrew Nelson

innov8.ag is proud to work alongside Andrew Nelson who is a grower and also on our Advisory Board. Andrew, a fifth generation farmer in the Palouse Region of Eastern Washington farms 9,000 acres of dryland wheat with his brother Bruce Nelson, his wife, and two sons.

Prior to Andrew continuing on with the family tradition, he was a software consultant in the Seattle area and led many software teams in developing solutions for multiple Fortune 100 companies. Receiving a B.S. in Computer Science and a B.A. in Business Administration from the University of Washington has provided him with extensive knowledge both in technical and business management skills. This not only allows Andrew to successfully continue his career as a farmer but also in consulting as a software developer.

With our company having a progressive farming mindset as well as many other farmers like Andrew, we have seen and collected data that shows the benefit of technology. Such as how it has helped with management operations like soil moisture, climate, pest and disease management, and labor allocation.

Learning from and working alongside Andrew Nelson has given our innov8.ag team an invaluable experience. Being able to see and be apart of a community of farmers that have provided real time information, data, and techniques that has made positive impacts in their farming systems regarding resource management gives our team the confidence to use our expertise to help other farmers be successful in resource management as well while also reducing management costs with our technology.

We would like to take this moment to encourage the viewer to either click on this link or the image above to watch a promotional video about Andrew Nelson's involvement in Agricultural Technologies and how it has evolved his management practices on and off the farm.

Thank you for your time and consideration in our company and we hope to hear from you soon!
